Due to the fast paced nature of this table youll often forget what youre building up to and trigger one of the various events. The way you paint the objects varies – sometimes there are paint bombs attached to the rope or nails that trigger an entire side to be painted. Models are highly detailed, almost to the point of photorealism, and the general sensation of rotating the object is highly immersive and engrossing. Although any level may be easy for you to get through, you may want to push yourself to cover each object with 100% paint, which is sometimes a hefty challenge. The game’s simple and relaxed nature results in an experience that is very tranquil and almost tactile. There are ten trees with a level on each branch, adding up to over 100 levels total. This is a relaxing, almost therapeutic game that always has another challenge to throw at you. ![]() Now that I’m done lusting over a controller, on to the gameplay itself. Don’t even attempt to play this on a Pro Controller as you need to experience the care and refinement put into the single Joy-Con controls. ![]() Now, simply rotating a single Joy-Con replicates the exact feeling of moving these objects in the real world – and it feels great. While it's certainly a worthwhile chill-out for your PC or Mac, I'm sorry that the magic of it is slightly lost in the translation. The game has been remastered for the Nintendo Switch with a completely new control method as well as improved graphics and audio. It is an opportunity to slow down, zone out, and focus on a task that’s challenging but not stressful: a set of gentle spatial puzzles. In the past, analog sticks, mousepads or touch screens would be used to do this.
